Dan is a CAA-approved, licensed, and insured drone operator with GVC and A2 qualifications, and has held a CAA Operational Authorisation for 6 years. Flying since 2017 and working professionally since 2020, he is trusted to work in complex and flight-restricted zones, from dense city centres and transport hubs to locations near airports, military bases, and stadiums, by day or night.
He has flown drones across Europe, Asia, and Oceania, bringing international experience and a strong understanding of regulations, environments, and visual storytelling.
As a Director of Photography, Dan approaches aerial work as an extension of the story, crafting cinematic shots that enhance the overall cinematography. His aerial work spans cinema, television, and social media.
He is available for hire as both a drone pilot and camera operator, always prioritising story first.
