Foka Wolf x Fairtrade - Fair on the Planet Campaign

For Fairtrade’s Fair on the Planet campaign, I documented artist Foka Wolf to tell the story behind his large-scale billboard in Birmingham, exploring the growing use of technology and synthetic alternatives in the food industry.

Through the film, we followed Foka’s artwork as a response to the rise of “AI slop” and an increasingly artificial modern world, questioning what happens when real ingredients like cocoa, and the farmers who produce them are replaced by synthetic alternatives.

The project formed part of Fairtrade’s wider campaign highlighting the pressures facing farmers and workers behind the products we rely on, and calling for fairer trade systems that put people, producers and the planet at the centre.
